Business Development Executive

Location: Sandyford, Dublin 18

Tenure: Permanent

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

The Business Development Executive is responsible for supporting prospective, new and existing clients. The successful candidate will act as a central point of contact both internally and externally. The role combines aspects of business development and project management and will require organisational and social capabilities and knowledge of the videoDoc platform to liaise cross teams and clients throughout the business development process.

Duties & responsibilities include:

  • Support the onboarding process for new clients
  • Understand the onboarding process from all aspects – legal, compliance, operations, marketing and clinical – and be able to support strategies to meet varied requirements within a defined timeline
  • Engage with clients via phone, email, WebEx etc. to drive a high satisfaction rate
  • Work closely with colleagues in the sales and business development function to facilitate the collection of relevant documentation in account opening procedures
  • Toprovide support to the sales function throughout the documentation/form completion process, ensure SLA, invoice and account opening forms are complete
  • Ensure all client files are stored and maintained
  • Demonstrate success in all phases of onboarding and client account maintenance, including consistently enhancing the process incrementally over time
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients. This includes key industries, business challenges, and objectives to appropriately communicate videoDoc product capabilities and associated business benefits to address their needs throughout the onboarding process
  • Prioritise needs and resources appropriately to deliver positive business outcomes
  • Liaise with colleagues to deliver collateral required to initiate a client contract
  • Liaise with in-house marketing or other resources to ensure client specific collateral is available
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, tenders or proposals
  • Execute delivery – uploading of new members, sending welcome emails, reminder emails etc. and make changes as appropriate to drive sign ups and utilization
  • Prepare reports and updates including monthly or quarterly reports for clients
  • Develop reporting templates (both internal and external) and deliver these as agreed in a timely fashion
  • Develop meaningful relationships with key stakeholders through regular communication
  • Research potential clients
  • Cold calling of potential clients to assist the sales function to develop pipeline of leads
  • Contribute to creating case studies
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify risks, anticipate issues and maintain controls in a fast-paced environment
  • Performing end-to-end administrative tasks from new business leads to existing clients
  • Liaising with external parties to achieve client / project objectives
  • Maintaining files in good order and providing accurate information to internal and external parties 

Experience, skills & qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of related experience in a client facing operations role
  • Able to work under pressure and deal with a high volume of requests
  • A strong understanding of operational processes, challenges and issues
  • Past successes in contributing to business transformation projects
  • Entrepreneurial approach, experience of working in a startup environment an advantage
  • Continual focus on process improvement and automation
  • Previous or similar experienceis desirable
  • Strong analytical and creative solutions abilities
  • Strong communications and presentation skillswith high attention to details
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Be open to change
  • Microsoft Office or other project management tools, plus an interest and competence in technology
