Ross studied Sports and Exercise Science at Sunderland University before going on to study Physiotherapy at Northumbria University, qualifying in 2013. Since qualifying, He has worked within the NHS setting through a varied range of settings including orthopaedics/musculoskeletal outpatients, elderly, respiratory, fracture clinic and GP clinics. Alongside his NHS experience, Ross has incorporated occupational health physiotherapy working in different settings such as pharmaceuticals, warehousing, food production and the emergency services. Ross also worked for Newcastle United within their academy on a part-time basis. He believes his varied range of physiotherapy experience helps to provide accurate and effective management of musculoskeletal problems of all types.
